I've got approved with this company for a merchant account. They charged me $49 dollars set up fee. Two days later they've canceled my account because I will have 30%-40% international transactions. Why they did not tell me before they set me up ? I have told them that I will have international transactions in my application and verbally. I've asked them to reimburse my set up fee, they said they can not, it is not refundable. What kind of business is it? Be careful working with this company, I would not recommend them.

User Rating

Not Rated

I am checking out internet merchant accounts and I was reading through your list. I decided to get more information on goemerchant. I don't know how you rate them so high. Their website tells you next to zero about their terms and I tried using the live chat to get more information and it wasn't available to answer questions.

In essence you have to sign up before you find out details of what you are signing up for. This is not good business. It makes you think they have something to hide.

User Rating

Not Rated

I am quite confused. It appears that GoEmerchant relies on First American Payment Systems, which appear to have lots and lots of complaints against them (not just against the resellers). So how can one be sure no to end with the same type of problems with GoEmerchant? ... and how is this any different from the situation with Flagship Merchant Services and First Data processing system?

User Rating

Not Rated
