Leap Payments Review
Merchant Maverick's Rating: (4.5 out of 5)

Last Updated: April 11th, 2010.
Overview:
Leap Payments is a merchant service provider based out of Agoura Hills, California that has been in business since 2009, but already looks like a great provider to work with. The only reason they didn't get a perfect score from me is simply because they're a newer company. As you know, age plays a big factor in my rating process, and I'm pretty sure you can understand why. However, it does look like there are some seasoned professionals that are running Leap Payments which is great to know.
It's easy to tell when an ISO/MSP is newer, because they all have the Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. Leap Payments also has a blog, which is awesome! The social media bandwagon is something that all company's should be jumping on, but simply setting up the accounts isn't good enough. It's the ISOs and MSPs that know how to use those accounts (i.e. transparent customer service, educating merchants etc...), that will be the winners in this new-age way of doing business.
Leap Payments recently put together a very detailed testimonials section on their website with fully-disclosed merchant information (i.e. full-name/business name)....excellent! It's what all testimonials sections should look like. Great job guys!
Not much more to say here. They have just about everything right so far.
Leap Payments gets a 4.5 out of 5 for now.

Thank you for the review of Leap Payments, we really appreciate your depth of information and attention to detail.
You’re comments about our previous set of testimonials was right on, and we were actually in the process of updating them when we first read your review. We recently loaded a new set of client testimonials to our website http://www.leappayments.com/testimonials. Each review is 100% verifyable and links are provided directly to the client’s website. Our clients are our most important asset and a significant source of new business for us.
Lastly we are a newer company, but every employee has an minimum of 5 years experience in this industry, as we simply don’t hire inexperienced people. We firmly believe that our clients deserve expert advice that can only be provided by industry veterans.

Will,
Thanks for reaching out. Your new testimonials section looks awesome! It’s really the type of setup that I’d like to see from all ISOs…great job!
I just recently updated your review, but this corrects one of my issues with Leap Payments, so you’re definitely going to get a rating increase. I’ll take care of it today.
Thanks again!
