PaymentC Ltd. Review
Merchant Maverick's Rating: (1 out of 5)

Last Updated: April 18th, 2010.
Overview:
During your long and exhausting search for the best merchant account around, you're bound to run into a company like PaymentC Ltd. On the surface, everything seems to look legit, but as you start peeling away the layers, the real story emerges. I love companies like PaymentC, because they give me the chance to really lay into 'em. And you know how much I just LOVE doing that!! I live for it!!
Anyway, before I get carried away, I'll proceed:
First of all, where the heck is this company located? Do you know, because I don't? I looked up the whois record on the domain, and it seems like it's been registered in Great Britain. On top of that, they have zero contact info on the actual site, so I'm left assuming that this is, in fact, an overseas company. We're already off to a bad start.
Moving on, they don't have a BBB profile, which is to be expected considering they probably don't even operate in the US. No privacy policy or third-party security features and absolutely zero testimonials. Can you tell where I'm going with all this?
Unless the owner of PaymentC contacts me personally with a copy of his driver's license, social security card and gives me an actual address, and some decent references, I say stay away from this company like the plague. I only gave them a 1 out of pity, considering the off chance that they possibly are a legitimate company, and they just for some strange reason suck at looking like one.

I contacted these guys and ALMOST gave them my information because they said I would be up and running within 48 hours.
But after searching for reviews – I found this site. It got me thinking and I did a little more digging.
Go to http://www.paymentc.com and then go to http://www.ipayweb.com
They are the EXACT same copy. The words are exactly the same in the exact order. The application forms even use the same type of form submit features.

Thanks for the input Jason. Great find!
I’m glad you stumbled across Merchant Maverick before signing up with them. I hate seeing fellow merchant’s get burned, and by finding that duplicate site, you’ve probably helped someone else from getting ripped off too. Even though they might possibly be a legit company, they by no means look like one. And in this industry, even the slightest reason to shy away, should be reason enough.
Thanks again!

Hey I dont know this company, never heard about them and I just landed on your website because I was looking for something else ….
Anyways, you do your rating to companies based in what ?!
Just because they are overseas or they dont have a phone number there, that doesnt mean you cant trust them … Usually rates are based on costumers experience …
What you are trying to do is plant your idea into peoples brain… and make them believe the company is either fake, not trustful when you have no prove of that …
I as a costumer wouldnt trust ur website …
