American Express Blue Business Plus
American Express Blue Business Plus
15.49% - 21.49%, Variable
This card leads the pack with a 0% APR introductory rate for 12 months on both purchases and balance transfers. It also boasts a rewards program of two points per $1 on all purchases up to $50,000 per year, and one point per $1 on all purchases after $50,000. You can redeem these points (which are worth $0.01 in many cases) via American Express’ Membership Rewards program in numerous ways. These include at checkout with major retailers, gift cards, cab fare in New York City, and booking travel through American Express Travel.
This card’s variable APR after those 12 months can run lower than average. It also grants you expanded buying power, which allows you to spend above your credit level without penalty.
Unfortunately, some redemptions dish out reward points at less than the standard $0.01. Rewards also start slowing down after spending $50,000 in a year, so this card might not be the best option if your business will break that threshold. International travelers should note that this card does carry a foreign transaction fee of 2.7%.

American Express Blue Business Cash
Blue Business Cash™ Card from American Express
15.24% - 21.24%, Variable
Amex recently introduced the Blue Business Cash card as a replacement for their discontinued SimplyCash Plus cash back business card. The Blue Business Cash features a 0% APR intro rate on purchases and balance transfers for the first 12 months along with no annual fee. As for cash back, you’ll earn 2% cash back on all eligible purchases on up to $50,000 in purchases per calendar year, then 1% cash back subsequently.

A handy benefit of the Blue Business Cash card is the ability to spend above your credit limit. The amount you can spend above your credit limit depends on your card usage, payment history, credit record, and other factors. The amount above your credit limit is due in full each month as part of your minimum payment due.
Additional card benefits include car rental loss and damage insurance, employee cards at no extra cost, extended warranty, purchase protection, and dispute resolution. A word of warning for international travelers: The Blue Business Cash carries a 2.7% foreign transaction fee.
