NCR Silver gets high marks for its ease of use, flexibility, and built-in marketing tools. Unfortunately, while NCR makes solidly good POS software, its Silver product suffers from other issues — namely, the restrictive service contract foisted on merchants who want to purchase the system. Unlike many other cloud POS competitors, NCR Silver comes with a multi-year service contract, outdated equipment, and expensive hardware leases. NCR Silver does disclose its monthly subscription pricing information online, but you’ll have to dig a little deeper to get the full picture, and that’s just what we’ve done in this review.
