Zoho Invoice
There’s a reason Zoho Invoice (see our review) is the only 5-star invoicing software on our site. Zoho Invoice really is the whole shebang. Robust features, unbeatable invoicing, simple setup, and a beautiful design—it doesn’t get any better than that, right? Wrong! This software also offers international invoicing.
International Support
- Multi-currency support
- Send invoices in multiple languages
With Zoho Invoice you can send invoices in 13 different languages, including Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish. You can also invoice and receive payments in 180 different currencies.
Features
In addition to these features, Zoho Invoice also offers:
- Estimates
- Contact management
- Expense tracking
- Inventory
- Project management
- Time tracking
- Reports
Zoho Invoice boasts the best client portal out there, allowing users to view and pay their invoices directly online. After invoices are paid, you can even send thank you notes from within the software. In addition, the company provides multiple payment gateway options so your customers can pay their invoices directly online.
Visit Zoho Invoice for a full feature tour.
Pricing
Zoho Invoice offers four pricing plans ranging from $0/mo – $30/mo. The free plan is a bit limited (especially compared to those offered by Invoicera and Invoicely) and once you hit the $30/mo mark you might as well purchase Zoho Books. Zoho Books comes with Zoho Invoice’s great invoicing options and international support, but it’s actual accounting software. Learn about Zoho Invoice’s pricing plans or read our full Zoho Books review for more details.
Ideal Business Size
Zoho Invoice is ideal for small to medium businesses who are looking for an invoicing solution and don’t need a full accounting package. In comparison to most invoicing programs, Zoho Invoice has some of the most economical options for companies with lots of employees.
Ultimately, Zoho Invoice is an affordable, robust invoicing solution. It is my go-to recommendation for international invoicing and it has some of the best template designs and customizations out there. Top that off with thank you notes and a client portal, and you’ve got a company that has thought of nearly everything. Read our full Zoho Invoice review to learn more about this great international invoicing option.
Invoicera
Invoicera (see our review) brings out all the bells and whistles when it comes to features. The software is one of the most developed on the market, and in turn, one of the most expensive. But over 3,000,000 users still flock to Invoicera. The program is full of automations, customizations, and—you guessed it—international invoicing options.
International Support
- Multi-currency support
- Send invoices in multiple languages
- Assign default languages to clients
With Invoicera you can send invoices in 11 different languages, including Croatian, English, French, German, Indonesia, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. You can also invoice and receive payments in 100 different currencies.
Features
In addition to these features, Invoicera also supports:
- Estimates
- Contact management
- Expense tracking
- Inventory
- Project management
- Time tracking
- Reports
Not only does Invoicera offer good features, it has ample time-saving automations. For example, you can schedule invoices in advance to be sent at another time. You can also stay organized with a handy in-software to-do list. Additionally, the company supports an unbelievable number of payment gateway options so your customers can pay their invoices directly online.
Visit Invoicera for a full list of features.
Pricing
Invoicera has three paid plans ranging from $19.95/mo – $99.95/mo. While these prices are quite steep, all hope is not lost. If you only have one user, Invoicera offers a free plan with unlimited invoices, which is rare. You can learn the details of each plan on Invoicera’s pricing page.
Ideal Business Size
Invoicera’s free plan is ideal for freelancers, independent contractors, or small businesses with only one employee. While Invoicera’s paid plans can support more users, they are quite spendy, which might be a deal-breaker for some companies.
It’s not the most affordable of invoicing options, but Invoicera offers ample features, decent customer support, and good international invoicing. Read our full Invoicera review to learn more about this software and its offerings.
FreshBooks
This web-based software has been on the market since 2003 and has gained 5,000,000 users over the years. With ample features, beautiful invoices, killer customer support, and a nice client portal, FreshBooks (see our review) is definitely worth a look. FreshBooks has never quite been able to make up its mind about whether it wants to be an accounting software or an invoicing software, but in this post, we don’t really care so long as it has international invoicing (spoiler: it does).
Note: FreshBooks Classic is the only version that currently offers good international features. FreshBooks New is not yet at the level of its predecessor (though representatives say international support will be added in future updates). For this reason, this section is focusing specifically on FreshBooks Classic and its features.
International Support
- Multi-currency support
- Send invoices in multiple languages
- Assign default languages and currencies to clients
With FreshBooks, you can send invoices in 13 different languages, including Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Spanish (Latin America), and Swedish. You can also invoice and receive payments in 150 different currencies.
Features
In addition to these features, FreshBooks Classic offers:
- Estimates
- Contact Management
- Expense tracking
- Inventory
- Time tracking
- Reports
FreshBooks Classic also offers a brilliant client where your customers can go to view and pay invoices. There are also a few unique features like the ability to accept customer requests that make FreshBooks a fan favorite. Like all of our software so far, FreshBooks supports multiple payment gateway options so your customers can pay their invoices directly online.
Pricing
FreshBooks is one of the only invoicing software companies that doesn’t offer a free pricing option. Instead, FreshBooks Classic offers five scalable pricing plans ranging from $12.95/mo – $39.95/mo. Plans are paid monthly and you can learn more about FreshBook’s pricing here.
Ideal Business Size
FreshBooks can be a bit spendy for small business, especially considering the fact the software doesn’t offer full accounting capabilities. But the program is still a good invoicing solution for freelancers, independent contractors, micro businesses, and small businesses willing to pay for it.
One of the biggest and most popular options in the invoicing and accounting world, FreshBooks Classic does not disappoint as far as invoicing is concerned. With customizable invoice templates, a beautiful client portal, and international invoicing options, this scalable software is a great option for businesses in need of invoicing and a few light bookkeeping tools. Read our full FreshBooks review to get the whole scoop on this software option.
Invoicely
Invoicely (see our review) is another easy-to-use invoicing program that’s been around since 2012. The program offers basic features and a few unique touches like mileage tracking. The company provides one of the best free plans on the market with no artificial invoice limits and unlimited contacts as well. Their invoicing gets even better when you add in strong international invoicing capabilities.
International Business
- Multi-currency support
- Send invoices in multiple languages
With Invoicely, you can send invoices in 20 different languages, including Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English (UK), English (UK), Estonian, Filipino, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazilian), Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, and Swedish. You can also invoice and receive payments in 150 different currencies.
Features
In addition to these features, Invoicely also offers:
- Estimates
- Contact management
- Expense tracking
- Accounts payable
- Item management
- Time tracking
- Reports
- Mileage tracking
Invoicely has most of the basic invoicing features covered (minus project management) as well as a few light bookkeeping tools. There are fewer invoice templates and customization options with this program than with the previous three, but this software still gets the job done and offers a beautiful user interface. There are multiple payment gateway options as well.
View Invoicely’s full feature list for more information.
Pricing
Invoicely offers four pricing plans ranging from $0/mo – $29.99/mo. Plans are paid monthly, and you can learn more about the difference between each plan on the Invoicely pricing page.
Note: The free plan does not have all of the international support options listed above.
Ideal Business Size
With scalable pricing plans, Invoicely is ideal for almost any business looking for an invoicing solution. The only kicker is that the software is made for 25 employees or fewer.
Invoicely is easy to use, affordable, and offers great international invoicing options. The software is a little more limited on features in comparison to the previous four programs, but it could still be a good runner up for small businesses looking for multi-currency and language support. Read our comprehensive Invoicely review to see if this program is a good choice for your business.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for international invoicing, you can’t go wrong with any of these four options. Each receives high ratings on our site and offers ample international invoicing features and multiple currencies. Ultimately, the best choice for your business will come down to your specific business needs, what you can afford, and which languages you require for invoices.
For small businesses that want to skip invoicing software and go straight to a full accounting program, there are several good accounting options for international business as well. See our post The Best Accounting Programs for International Business. For medium to large-sized businesses, unfortunately, there aren’t many full-fledged accounting programs with international invoicing; however, many of the programs we covered in this article are cost-effective and can integrate with your full accounting programs. We cover all of their integrations in each of our reviews.
Whichever software you choose, we wish you the best of luck with your international business! Buena suerte! In bocca al lupo! Viel glück! 祝你成功
