Amad Ebrahimi
Founder
Amad has worked in the eCommerce and online marketing world since 2002. He started as an eBay seller, then slowly graduated to building & marketing his own websites and consulting others to do the same.He founded Merchant Maverick out of frustration with all the misinformation and shady tactics that he encountered when trying to find a merchant account for his and his client's businesses.In his spare time he's usually outdoors exercising, trail running, kayaking, paddle boarding, and anything else that requires the sun, the ocean, or some dirt. If he's not outside, then he's probably reading a book…or two…or ten.

Tom DeSimone

Tom loves asking tough questions and getting straight answers, so he has a lot of fun calling payment processors for Merchant Maverick to cut through their smoke and mirrors and find the real deals. He has run a full-time editorial business from his home in New York’s Hudson Valley since 2010 and could not imagine a better job.When not busy writing and keeping credit processors honest, Tom enjoys backpacking in the mountains or playing various musical instruments.
