ClearChoice Merchant Services Review

Merchant Maverick's Rating: (4 out of 5)

Last Updated: April 30th, 2010.

Overview:
ClearChoice is still pretty new to the market, so data's limited. I dug up all I could though, and the results don't look too bad. They have a good BBB record, and I couldn't find any negative reviews on RipOffReport, so we're looking good in that department as well.

They have a few testimonials on their site, so feel free to contact those merchants as references. Be sure to ask for some more as well. They also have a Twitter account here.

This is your opportunity to help me out here reader's, and let us all know if you've dealt with ClearChoice. You can write your opinion and choose a rating right in the comment section of this post.

Until then, ClearChoice looks like they can be trusted. The Maverick gives them a 4 out of 5.

Trust Symbols:
Check out the ClearChoice BBB profile. They have an "A" rating as of this review with only 4 complaints...good stuff.

Negative Reviews:
Looks like they're pretty clean. This is where your user reviews can come in handy, so don't hesitate to let us know if you've dealt with them.

None as of this review.

Verifiable Testimonials/References:
You'll see some testimonials spread throughout the ClearChoice site. They either include the business name and/or a full contact name. That's what we're looking for. :)

Security/Privacy:
No on-site security features (i.e. McAfee, Security Metrics etc...). The security issue really depends on what kind of information the merchant provider is collecting from you. If they require you to fill out a formal application with sensitive info like SSN numbers, then they should definitely have some third-party security in place.

I've personally never had an account with ClearChoice, so I don't know how good their customer service is, but I did email them with some questions about contract terms, and received a quick response.
