Free Cost Segregation Calculator
If you want to get an idea of the benefits of cost segregation before reaching out for a free analysis, you can use KBKG’s free cost segregation calculator.
Simply plug in information including the purchase price of the building (less land costs), the date the property was put into service, and the type of property, and you’ll receive an estimate of your federal income tax savings.
The calculator provides a two-page exportable PDF at no cost. The first page provides low and high estimates, estimated allocations following a cost seg study, and other data based on the information plugged into the calculator.
The second page of the report includes a depreciation schedule before and after a cost segregation study.

We spend hours researching and evaluating each cost segregation company we review at Merchant Maverick, placing special emphasis on key characteristics to generate our service provider ratings.
When rating cost segregation companies, we use an 18-point rubric that looks at features, fees, customer service, and user reviews. We weigh each section differently to calculate the total star rating.
