I am brain boggled. If I purchase the QB Pro Payroll Enhanced 2020 disc, I am paying (at this moment) $500. Without the payroll it is $300. Am I also paying a subscription fee beyond that $200 for the payroll service?

      Hi Lise,

That is the correct cost for the QuickBooks Pro software. The pricing for payroll will depend on which payroll plan you choose and how many users you have. The monthly plans range from $29 – $109/month plus $2/month per employee. You can learn more about these prices on the QuickBooks website. If you are buying the disc from a reseller rather than Intuit directly, the pricing may vary and you’ll need to read the fine print on that particular deal.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

      Best wishes,

Does Assisted payroll file monthly municipality taxes for workplace and courtesy tax?

Also, does it do Fed and state unemployment filings?

        Thanks,
        rozina

          Hi Rozina,

Thanks for reaching out! The Assisted payroll plan should cover all of your state and federal tax needs, including unemployment. I am uncertain if this service covers monthly municipality taxes or courtesy taxes, so you would need to double-check with QuickBooks directly to be sure.

          Best wishes,
