Great reviews. We’re currently using BillyApp, no free version, but grabbed myself an Appsumo deal for $39 only. Read a comment above Slickpie, and it seems promising. Looking to test it out aswell.

I have been using Slickpie( free online accounting software for about a year. I enjoy that it’s possible for me to change the invoices theme templates. I basically use it for online invoicing and billing. The document upload feature is really handy.

An interesting article. I have just been looking at Wave for a client after not reviewing it for a couple of years. Wave has moved on and in my opinion, will suit a lot of small businesses. Xero is an alternative, but many small business owners do not want the expense. On an initial consultation with clients it often comes down to cost in choosing the suitable software.
